Good news!

After much searching, we have been given permission to use a location in the Tyrebagger Forest, where the Xmas trees are sold, for stargazing. This is just off the A96 at the top of Tyrebagger hill. The photo below shows the flat area which will be suitable for setting up our telescopes, although at the moment we will just have to bring all the equipment we need with us. There is plenty of parking for our vehicles and the site is just a few metres off the B979.

Stargazing Dates for 2025

Here are proposed dates for the next few sessions:

February 26th from   7.30pm

March       5th from   7.30pm

March    19th  from   7.30pm

March     26th from   7.30pm
